88. Passenger Service Fee – The airport licensee may collect fees to
be called the Passenger Service Fee from the embarking passengers at such rate
as the Central Government may specify.
The airport licencee
shall utilise the fees so collected for the infrastructure
and facilitation of the passengers:
Provided that the rate of fees in respect of
major airports shall be as determined under clause (1) of sub-section (1) of
section 13 of the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India Act, 2008 (27
of 2008)”.
